MEET THE LADIES

ROBE & BAMBI

The most exciting part about our venture is the thrill of how every event will turn out. Indeed, it always seem impossible until it is done.

Robe
General Manager and PRR Ambassador

Robe is a marketing professional with experience in diverse industries such as Telecommunications, Energy and Media. She is about to take on another challenge as a marketer as she joins a Global Automobile firm. As a social activities queen and a jack-of-all-trades, she would not let an opportunity to learn something new pass. She loves to establish meaningful connections and bring people together. Inspired by Muhammad Yunus, she is working on her long-term mission of empowering the underpriviliged by giving them access to business opportunities and trainings. She dreams of leading her own consulting firm after her international corporate stint.

Bambi
Managing Partner and Cook

Ex-managing editor of Yummy food magazine and other Philippine glossies, Bambi came to Japan to be a full-time MBA student, and a part-time lover of kitchen, travel, and culture. After MBA, she has done projects with Cookpad, All About Japan, and Tourist Note (for Dentsu and Asahi Shinbun). Nowadays, on weekdays, she makes things happen as a Project Manager for Nature Japan K.K. On weekends, she finds time for food, fun, friends, and faith. She dreams of uplifting the Filipino pride and culture in Japan, becoming a social entrepreneur with businesses around the world, and retiring to a farm-resto-bed and breakfast in the Philippines, while writing her books-to-be-published.

CONCEPT

After having tried most cuisines in Japan from almost every nation, we've realized that this giant food bowl of a nation lacks one thing--the Philippine flavor.

We've been moving around in friends' houses, to serve heirloom recipes we remember from our kitchen back home.

We've gladly satisfied both Filipinos and Filipinos-at-heart (other Asians and Europeans) during our cookouts, and we'd like to share this experience to more people.

Filipino food has been strongly influenced by Spanish roots (having been colonized for more than 300 years). We also have strong Chinese and Malay cooking influences as history permitted many trade activities with these cultures. Expect rich flavor in every bite!

As we prepare appetizers, main courses, and desserts with our labor of love, be assured that we'd also feed you with tidbits of fun historical trivia, information on the best white beaches and travel spots, and even a lowdown on low-capital but potentially booming investment opportunities in the Philippines, which has been recently ranked as the Top 2 fastest growing economies of the world.

As globetrotters and innate Filipino culture enthusiasts, we do this for fun. But as fresh MBA graduates, we also like to bring about this unique experience to others, a serious business.

Every other month, we organize a food trip event in our chosen kitchen! We want you to feel the vibe of entering a Filipino home.

We tell you interesting stories about our unique country.

We serve a full-course meal from appetizer to dessert in a unique cultural experience.
